A: Upon acceptance, our Financial Assistants will guide you in applying for financial aid.

* If you withdraw early from school, you may be responsible to pay grant money back to the U.S. Department of Education.

A: Yes, you must be at least 16 years of age to begin training.

Q: Do I need to have a high school diploma?
A: You will need to have earned a high school diploma or a GED certificate.

A: Yes, Chic University of Cosmetology is accredited by The National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Arts & Sciences, Inc; (NACCAS) and is licensed to operate in the State of Michigan. The schools are also certified by the U.S. Department of Education to participate in the Title IV Financial Aid programs.

A: Classes offer a wide range of instruction including lectures, live demonstrations, guest speakers, videos, and practical application.

A: After the first phase of training, you'll work on clients within the schools' Student Salon.

A: To get your diploma, you must complete the program hours and the required number of practical procedures, and have no financial obligations to the school.

Q: Will I receive my license when I finish the program?
A: To get your license, you must pass an examination administered by the Michigan Board of Cosmetology (state board). Our program helps prepare you for the exam and we'll even give you a "mock board exam" so you know what to expect.
